UNESCO Chair for Interdisciplinary Studies on Anti-Semitism and Group Hate has been established

The opening ceremony for the new UNESCO Chair for Interdisciplinary Studies on Anti-Semitism and Group Hate at the University of Warsaw took place on April 17, 2026, and was attended by the Rector of the University of Warsaw, Prof. Alojzy Nowak, and Deputy Minister of Science Prof. Andrzej Szeptycki. The Department’s goal will be to advance research on prejudice and mechanisms of violence, and it will be headed by Prof. Michał Bilewicz.
