ISS UW ogłasza konkurs dla studentów UW na sfinansowanie wyjazdu na “CHANGEMAKER STUDENT SUMMIT 2016” na University of Northampton w Anglii w dniach 28-31 lipca, 2016. Nagrodą jest dotacja w kwocie do 4 500 zł na osobę. W konkursie mogą brać udział studenci zainteresowani zmianami na Uniwersytecie Warszawskim lub w szkolnictwie wyższym w Europie i na świecie. Jury konkursu wybierze grupę kilku studentów UW, którzy podczas pobytu na Uniwersytecie Northampton będą intensywnie pracować z kolegami z całego świata, przedstawią naszą sytuację, wyzwania przed jakimi stoimy, podzielą się swoją wiedzą, a potem wrócą z pomysłami na działania w Polsce.
Konkurs skierowany jest do zespołów/grup studenckich, które działają na Uniwersytecie w sposób formalny lub nieformalny. Zespoły mogą wydelegować maksymalnie 3 osoby, które mogą odbyć wizytę na Uniwersytecie Northampton.

On June 20, 2015, a conference dedicated to Anniversary of Professor Mirosław Kofta is held in Tyszkiewicz-Potocki Palace at Krakowskie Przedmieście Street 26/28. The conference is organized by the Department of Psychology and ISS and entitled “From psychology of control to psychology of conspiracies. In the circle of interests and fascinations of Mirosław Kofta”.
ISS invites you to an open lecture entitled “The Globalization of Inequality” by Salvatore Babones, associate professor at the University of Sydney, which will take place at Brudzinskie Hall (Sala Brudzińskiego) in Kazimierzowski Palace (Pałacu Kazimierzowski) (Krakowskie Przedmieście Street 26/28, 00-927 Warsaw) on June 9, 2015 (Tuesday) at 5.30 pm. The lecture will be devoted to mechanism and effects of diffusion of a US model of social inequalities.
