Adiunkt w Instytucie Psychologii Polskiej Akademii Nauk. Jej zainteresowania badawcze obejmują psychologię pozytywną, zdrowie psychiczne, zdrowie w mieście, emocje i regulację emocji oraz wpływ środowiska naturalnego i miejskiego na dobrostan. Współpracuje z Civil City Lab. Jest kierowniczką projektu badawczego „Kontakt z naturą a dobrostan: rola więzi z naturą, regulacji emocji i pory roku”, finansowanego przez Narodowe Centrum Nauki, a także uczestniczyła w kilku innych projektach. Uczy doktorantów w IPPAN i Graduate School for Social Research (GSSR). Odbyła pobyt naukowy w City, University of London (UK), jest (współ)autorką licznych publikacji i prezentacji konferencyjnych oraz recenzentką w kilku czasopismach naukowych.
